Our boxer shorts with plush inside-exposed waistband material are created using the most excellent, comfortable waistband materials on the planet. These waistbands measuring 1 1/2 inches in width have a soft stretch to them and have a gorgeous plush surface. The added width makes for excellent comfort and wearability. Four rows of stitching makes them extremely durable. And, the fabric is tucked nicely under the waistband so that loose ends are never a problem. In fact, we tuck about 3/4 of an inch of fabric behind the waistband. See, the edge view illustration to see how the waistband is made.

You will probably notice, if you spend some time on our web site that is, that some of our styles are defaulted to "Plush Inside-Exposed" waistband and others are defaulted to "Fabric-Covered" waistband. We set the waistband default to what we consider the best choice for a particular fabric type. For instance, flannel is so soft that it would be best to use a fabric-covered waistband. This way the soft fabric is against your skin since it wraps completely around the waistband material. Reciprocally, 60-square cloth solids are set to plush inside-exposed since it is not nearly as soft as flannel and thus would be best served with a 'plush' inside-exposed waistband. You, of course, can change this to whatever you like.
